About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily plant operations by performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and machine repair. This role keeps production running efficiently and safely while contributing to a high performance manufacturing environment. 
 
What You’ll Do: 
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and ISO 14001 EMS requirements. 
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to reduce downtime. 
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and production requests. 
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks and identify potential failures. 
  • Accurately document maintenance work and parts used in SAP. 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and P\&IDs. 
  • Use light rigging equipment when needed. 
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, standing, and pulling. 
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in work and production areas. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
 
What We’re Looking For:
Required: 
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2–5+ years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, or equivalent military training.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, electrical/mechanical systems). 
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally move loads up to 100 lbs. 
  • Comfortable with heights, ladders, confined walking/standing for 10–12 hours. 
  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, and flexible hours as needed. 
  • Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to learn quickly and document work accurately. 

Preferred: Multicraft experience (welding, millwright, pipefitting, lubrication) 
  • NCDOL Journeyman Apprentice (Level I or II) 
  • Experience with precision maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.  
  • Previous maintenance experience in a Fiber Optics Cabling organization. 
  • Experience with 24v/120v/240v/480v 3phase systems
